Coremetrics Open for Business in APAC
Local Demand for Digital Marketing Solution Brings Coremetrics to Melbourne
and Hong Kong
Melbourne, 20 May 2008 – As competition in the local e-commerce space heats up, digital marketing provider Coremetrics has launched in the Asia Pacific region. Two new offices in Melbourne and Hong Kong will offer local support to existing global customers and build new relationships with companies across a range of industries including travel, retail and financial services.
Coremetrics’ move into Asia Pacific is a direct response to the growing demand for web analytics and digital marketing solutions in the region’s billion-dollar online advertising and marketing industry. Coremetrics will strike up local partnerships and utilise direct sales models to build the local operation.

Kevin Mackin will head-up the ANZ operation in Melbourne, with more than twenty years experience in the local IT industry. The Hong Kong office will be driven by Tony Tsang, an industry veteran with experience in IT and Telecommunications in Asia. Kevin and Tony worked together at WebEx where they grew that business to a multimillion dollar operation throughout Asia Pacific. WebEx was acquired by networking giant Cisco in 2007.
